The knife unit is constructed from high-quality aluminium and comprises four knives: two large serrated cutting knives and two smaller turning knives. The machine has a single speed setting (1,500 rpm) and a pulse function. The machine is operated via a turning knob, rather than buttons. The motor drives the knife unit directly, without the use of intermediate belts.
